The SPEG-600 Vertical Form Fill and Seal machine is a solid construction for heavy applications and harsh environments. It is used for packing mainly salads, spices, dairy applications. For increased protection against heavy wash down areas are the SPEG-600 I with a higher IP rating and custom upgrade made to suit.
VFFS Innovative Features
The VFFS machine features a fully enclosed stainless-steel construction and sandblast finish. At the rear of the VFFS an air expanding drum is used for quick film changeover. An innovative quick lock device with only one moving part is used to lock in the new reel for fast changeover. Mechanical clutch drives are used to unwind the reel replacing motorised drive for better performance and unwind control.
For film tracking and alignment an electromechanical actuator is used with momentary control to position the rear rack precisely and an array sensor is mounted to continuously track the film when in auto mode. This gives precision film tracking for the duration of the production run.
